GEPoil & Petroleum Limited is a subsidiary of EGPetrol ( now known as GEPetrol ) which was founded as the National Oil Company
of the Equatorial Guinea Republic by presidential decree
in February 2001, and started its operations on the
following year, both as an auditor of the State
participation and rights in oil exploitation, as well as in
international sales and exploration.
In 2012, GEPetrol created and Simultaneously directed GEPoil & Petroleum Limited (formerly known as Epic Oil and Gas Ltd.) to initiate staff training
and qualifying programs, with the aim of achieving a
Company’s better positioning and operative capacity
development in the short term.
Likewise, it initiated, and has been developing since
then, the opening of an international bidding process for
new continental, insular and maritime oil areas in the
Equatorial Guinea territory.
